Brett, Karlie and Jon…. I just now found out about Laura’s death. Sometimes word travels very slowly. There are no words to express my sympathy for all of you. She was a very special person to everyone! She did so much and really never expected anything in return. She always made me laugh, especially when she dressed up as uncle fester for Halloween. That was my favorite! I will never forget her and the legacy she leaves behind. All my love… Brenda Bacon.

Dear Bret, Karlie and Jon - I am so very, very sorry for your great loss! Words cannot express how truly remarkable, strong and loving Laura was. I will never forget, Bret, yours and Laura’s love story from the very beginning when her furnace broke down! And the special blessing of the birth of you, Karlie and Jonathan. Laura was such an inspiration to everyone. Always a beautiful spirit with a faith I wish I could match. She fought the good fight and I know she is definitely with the Lord, watching over us all. Rest In Peace beautiful Laura. Rhonda Davis

Strongest and most kind soul possible. She showed me the power of the Beatles music, and how to continue to fight when the odds are against us. Join in honoring their life - plant a memorial tree

When I reflect on a phrase that sums up Laurie's life, Love Story is what comes to mind. She demonstrated such love and strength all to be with her family each and every day. This should be a lesson to us all, to hold our families close and love them with every fiber of our being while we can. Laurie, I know you will be keeping a close watch on your family. I have so many wonderful memories of our times together. You were a mentor, a cousin, a sister, a cheerleader and a friend. Karlie and Jon, your mother was an amazing women who loved you so deeply that we could all feel it. Bret, you were such a rock for Laurie and your kids. Thank you for being there for Laurie through all the good times and the hard times. We love you all and will be here to support you. With extreme love and gratitude, Heather
