So sad to hear of Laura's passing. Condolences to Robert and her family. Enjoyed working with Laura. She had a wonderful sense of humor and I could always share a laugh with her. With deepest sympathy - Carol Labenski

Laura was my soul sister. We met in college and were roommates in Atlanta for several years. She was Laverne to my Shirley.
She was the best friend I girl could ask for. Always there for me in good times and bad.
Since I heard the news Saturday’s night I have been reliving all of our memories. And boy did we have some.
You will be so missed. But you are now reunited with the love of your life. I love you.
Robert, Mr. Sutton, and Susan, my prayers and thoughts are with you.

One thing about Laura- she had no problem telling you what was on her mind- that's why we hit it off.
Recently I told her I would serenade her from outside her bedroom window if she needed entertainment, but that I was not a good singer- and she said " I WILL PASS"...I cracked up and so did she.
She was generous and kind- she gave my boys all sorts of things to furnish their college house and when we had graduation parties she helped out and lent supplies.
We were neighbors when I was a teenager and now as an adult. I've been very worried about her over the past 6 months and while I feel relieved that she is not suffering any longer- it saddens me that she is not up on the corner anymore. That will take some getting used to.
You will be missed Laura.
