I would just like to extend my sincere condolences to Gene's family...I had a 40 year banking career with M&T Bank, retiring in 2015...Last assignment was as Br Mgr In Ellicottville, from 1981 till retiring. I remember Gene well, fondly remembering the times he would drive down to Ellicottville to visit friend(s)...I recall one particular time he broke down just outside of town, was driving an older vintage car at the time, we arranged for the local repair shop to lend him a hand., I don't think it was anything too serious...He was always interesting to talk to...I think he was at our Lackawanna branch for awhile, it was closed down a long time ago.
