DeMarie, Loretta A. (nee Justinger)
Of Derby, NY, passed away Friday June 2, 2023, in Hospice Buffalo Inc., she was 95. Beloved wife of the late Joseph DeMarie. Cherished mother of Rita “Dee” (Richard) Cooper, Annette Rose (Randall Raab), Nancy (Alan) Truver and the late Daniel (Trisha) DeMarie. Foster mother of Robert Reilly. Also survived by 7 grand, 16 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. While raising her family she also worked as a bookkeeper for various companies and helped her husband operate his jewelry Store in the Ellicott Square Building. Sharing her musical talents, she served as organist for St. Vincent De Paul Church in N. Evans for many years. Along with Joe, the volunteered as Directors of the Baker Victory Guys and Gals Marching Unit. They also served by volunteering at Operation Good Neighbor, where she served as Treasurer and Grant Writer. All who knew Loretta admired her beautiful gardens over the years. FLOWERS GRATEFULLY DECLINED, memorials may be made in Loretta's name to Hospice Buffalo, Inc. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, August 11, 2023 at 10:30 AM in Holy Spirit Church, N. Collins, NY. A celebration of her life will be held Saturday August 12, 2023 (Loretta's Birthday) at the Cooper residence, N. Collins, NY
