Of Derby, NY, entered into rest January 4, 2024 in Palms West Hospital, Loxahatchee, Fl., he was 86. Beloved husband of Marguerite Vail. Loving father of Richard (Kelly Smith) Vail Jr. and Katherine (Derek Hankerson) Sandoval. Cherished grandfather of Melissa Sandoval and Shauna Vail. Family will be present to receive friends Friday, May 3, 2024 from 4 - 7 PM at the ADDISON FUNERAL HOME INC. 262 N. Main street, Angola, NY. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, May 4. 2024 at 11:00 AM in the First Church of Evans, Derby, NY. Interment will follow, in the First Church of Evans Cemetery.
